With a combined experience of over 30 years, Nemo Swim Schools run the lowest ratio group swimming lessons in the Midlands in a safe, relaxed but stretching environment. Our background is in competitive swimming so we have an intimate knowledge of the techniques required to make a swimmer!
We teach from zero to adult, and from absolute beginner to elite / triathlete level!
All of our teachers are DBS checked, Swim England/STA and lifesaving qualified.
We follow the Swim England teaching framework and pathways of achievement to ensure swimming excellence.
Josh is the owner of Nemo Swim Schools. Josh has a long history of competitive swimming with Walsall, Chase and Boldmere Swimming clubs but he also swam to a national level as a 12-13 year old and for his County of Staffordshire.
He has bought along the way over 10 years’ experience of in-depth techniques and training drills and discipline that is unsurpassed. He started teaching children to swim when he was only 14 years old and developed a passion for abilities from birth to adults.
His main area was the more advanced children where he ran several pre-competitive ‘swim squads’ where, like him, many children went to compete for their county and region. He is a Level 2 swimming instructor, NRASTC qualified and fully insured.
Not only is Anna a Level 2 swim teacher, lifesaving qualified and fully insured, she is also a fully qualified Personal Trainer and is now studying her nutritionist qualification.
She has over 10 years’ experience of teaching all ages of children and adults but specialises in our younger swimmers and has taught all levels of learning difficulties such as autism, ADHD and global developmental delays.
Anna has three children and taught them all to swim herself! She is very kind, patient and knows how to have fun too!
